Mythological Stories
For children over 7 years old and their families

Mythological Stories
"Mythological Stories" is an innovative project designed to introduce ancient mythology to children aged 7 and above. Rooted in the rich traditions of traditional Turkish theater (ortaoyunu) and puppetry, the project highlights myths that primarily took place across our historic geography.
The performance series features a captivating lineup of classic tales, including:
"Pandora’s Box" – The story of how hope spread throughout the world.
"The Trojan Horse" – The legendary tale set in ancient Çanakkale.
"Ariane’s Thread" – The myth of the Minotaur's labyrinth on the Aegean shores.
"King Midas and his golden touch" – Set in ancient Phrygia, located between modern-day Eskişehir and Kütahya.
"Odysseus and the one-eyed giant" – The epic encounter with the one-eyed giant.
"Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon" – The mysterious creation of the earth and the underworld.
Narrated by Aphrodite, the ultimate symbol of beauty and love, each episode welcomes a special guest artist to bring these stories to life.
Perfect for a delightful family theater experience, "Mythological Stories" has successfully met audiences at prominent venues and festivals, including Moda Sahnesi (Istanbul), the International Kosovo Theater Festival, Paribu Art, ENKA Sanat, and most recently, the Sabancı Museum's "Müzede Sahne" (Stage at the Museum).
